China Europe Digital Trade Week-Food and Agricultural products
China Europe Digital Trade Week-Food and Agricultural products special session, hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)，organized by China Association of Trade in Services(CATIS) and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) and received strong support of Chamber of Commerce Exporters and Importers(IGEI), was successfully held on November 3.
According to the representative of the China Association for Trade in Services, the meeting adopted the form of “online cloud negotiation” to showcase high-quality “Made in China” to European buyers, from nearly 60 provinces and cities including Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hubei Province, and Liaoning Province Foreign trade companies in food and agricultural products. The “online video live broadcast + instant interaction” model provides exhibitors and suppliers with a real and efficient experience of participating in the conference, helping foreign trade companies to seize new business opportunities through the new model.
China-EU economic and trade relations are an important foundation of China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership. For a long time, China-EU economic and trade relations have maintained sustained and rapid development, cooperation has been continuously deepened, fields have been continuously expanded, and mechanisms have been continuously improved, forming a mutually beneficial and win-win situation. More than 30 overseas buyers participating in this fair are from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and other countries. This online cloud fair is aimed at helping domestic foreign trade companies to explore the European market under the current situation.
In his speech, the vice chairman of IGEI expressed the hope that Chinese and foreign companies will use this fair to conduct in-depth exchanges and negotiations and achieve more practical cooperation results. It is reported that products such as tea, condiments, fungi, soybeans, etc. have become popular items in the cloud negotiation and have been favored by buyers, over 160 negotiations were conducted with more than 330 online viewers. Both Chinese and foreign companies expressed their satisfaction with the fair, and expressed that they exceeded expectations. They hope that the organizer will plan and hold similar precise matchmaking activities in the future.
